How We Rate Products

Every score or verdict must be explainable. Categorical verdicts come first. Numeric scores are only published when enough evidence exists.

The Six Factors

Keenly Green evaluates ingredients and materials, health and safety, environment, ethics and labor, transparency, and circularity.

Verdict Labels

Current labels include Strong Evidence, Mostly Supported, Mixed, Weak Evidence, Marketing Heavy, and Insufficient Information.

Score Use

A 0 to 100 Keenly Green Score is used only when the evidence is strong enough to support a numeric summary. Pages without enough evidence show the missing pieces instead.
